19th century blown glass wig ball with chromolithographs of flowers arranged in a crown with a central bouquet on a cream background
Ball mounted on a turned wooden base.
The Potichomanie technique consisted of cutting out the images and sticking them inside the ball, then coating the whole with white to give a porcelain effect.
A highly decorative and totally unusual collector's item, ideal for a quality curiosity cabinet!
Exceptional collection of around twenty balls available in Ref. 6745 to 6754!

Some of the chromos are slightly detached, some of the interior paint is missing and has small bubbles in places in the mouth-blown glass, but overall in good condition
